Online consultation

In many cases patients are not able to travel in order to discuss their concern or their procedure of interest. Today we can communicate easily with many patients from abroad through easy-to-use internet platforms. Our secure virtual consultation is also a convenient option if you live outside of Athens, have a very busy schedule, or prefer the privacy of an online pre-consultation and would like to receive a preliminary assessment from one of our U.S. Board-Certified physicians.

The goals during the virtual consultation are the same as during a regular face-to-face consultation. We will have to analyze in detail the findings from your pictures and discuss thoroughly our assessment, the indications for your surgery and the expected operative and postoperative course. Also, the virtual consultation does not eliminate the need for a regular consultation. If a surgical procedure is planned, we will need to evaluate you in person before your surgery date. This can happen when you arrive in Athens and at least 2 days before your surgery date. For virtual / internet / telephone consultations, please call us or send us an Email.

Any camera with a zoom magnification should be sufficient. It is imperative that you use adequate lighting and a solid background. See examples below so you may accurately understand the photo angles for each procedure.
