Before/after pictures

before - after

You will not find patients’ “before and after” photographs on our website – this website is primarily designed to provide information and education. Photographs posted on the internet can be misleading, create unrealistic expectations and are usually designed to advertise or promote. Additionally, most of our patients do not consent for pictures of their face or body to be exposed on the internet.

However, photographs are definitely an integral part of our consultation process as it’s a very good way to get a feel of the aesthetic approach of your surgeon. During your consultation you will have the opportunity to evaluate many pictures showing our surgical approach and results. These are pictures of many of our patients that have given permission for their images to be shown to other patients in person and in confidence. We always try to show you pictures of patients with similar anatomy to yours. At the same time, it is important for patients to understand that generally it is impossible to show you exactly how you will look after your surgery and the reason is simply the anatomic individualization of every human face and body. It is simply not possible for two persons’ noses, breasts or other areas to look exactly the same and although the face or body differences may sometimes appear minimal, they may have a significant impact in the surgical planning and in the potential surgical result.

Ultimately, the only way to ensure that you will be satisfied with the cosmesis of your surgical result is to trust the judgement, skill and aesthetic approach of the surgeon you will choose. The best way to assess this is through other patients’ results and experiences. Nearly all of our patients are recommended by other patients through word-of-mouth referrals as we do not use advertising and marketing.
